Questions and answers
Doesn't DyreID already do this?
DyreID is the Norwegian ID register, and change of ownership is still done there. Potepass remembers what you do yourself, and reminds you next time.
What does it cost?
14 days free, no card. After that NOK 39 per month for one pet, or NOK 329 per year. Family for up to 4 pets costs NOK 79 per month or NOK 649 per year. The price is the same for every species.
What happens if I stop paying?
The record is still yours. You can read, export and transfer it at any time.
How do I share the record with my vet?
You show a QR code or send a link. Your vet can read, print and download attached records. The link stops working when you decide.
Which pets is the app for?
Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other rodents, birds, ferrets and reptiles. Each species has its own template, and a microchip is optional.
What happens when the pet gets a new owner?
You send a transfer in the app. The whole health record moves to the new owner. Private notes stay with you.
What happens if the pet dies?
You can mark the pet as deceased. All reminders stop, and the health record is kept so you can look back at it later.
Does the app give veterinary advice?
No. The reminders are suggestions. Always ask your vet.
Who can see the data?
Only you and the people you share with. Every opening of a share is logged, and we never sell data.
